What is the 5-LOX inhibitor with AprèsFlex?

Compounds in boswellia extract have been shown to directly bind to 5-LOX, an enzyme that converts fatty acids into inflammatory factors such as leukotriene B4. A compound in boswellia called AKBA is extremely important for this beneficial action. Each vegetarian capsule (100 mg) of the 5-LOX inhibitor with AprèsFlex® contains a standardized amount of active AKBA from boswellia — 20%.

AprèsFlex® is absorbed 52% better than standard boswellia extract and contains a standardized amount of the active AKBA compound.
