Product information. Broccoli is a cruciferous vegetable from the brassica family. Broccoli contains a unique class of phytochemicals known as glucosinolates, including glucoraphanin. When consuming broccoli, chewing breaks down glucoraphanin with the support of an enzyme called myrosinase. When glucoraphanin and myrosinase are combined, a compound known as sulforaphane is formed. Solaray® broccoli seed extract activates the myrosinase enzyme to support this process. Lyophilized broccoli sprouts are added to this formula because they contain both glucosinolates and myrosinase enzymes.
Directions for use
Use only as directed. Take one vegetarian capsule per day with a meal or with a glass of water.
