Vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin) is a water-soluble vitamin required for the maintenance of a healthy nervous system and for energy production from fats and proteins. In addition, vitamin B12 is essential for DNA synthesis during cell division and is therefore especially important for rapidly dividing cells, such as blood cells. Adequate intake of vitamin B12 together with folic acid and vitamin B6 is critically important for the conversion of homocysteine to methionine, which supports cardiovascular health. Since vitamin B12 is stored in the liver, its dietary sources can only be of animal origin (meat and dairy products). Therefore, vitamin B12 supplements can be especially important for strict vegetarians.

Suggested use
Take 1 lozenge daily. Chew the lozenge or hold it in the mouth until completely dissolved, then swallow.
