What does “coenzymated” mean?

For B vitamins to be effectively used by the body, they must be converted into metabolically active coenzyme forms. For example, the coenzyme form of vitamin B6 is pyridoxal 5'-phosphate.

A coenzyme is a natural compound that combines with certain enzymes to promote a number of beneficial metabolic reactions in the body.
