Calcium is an essential mineral responsible for bone strength. The body cannot produce calcium, so it is necessary to consume an adequate amount to supply the body with this important nutrient.
Calcium and magnesium play an important role in proper bone mineralization, muscle contractions, and nerve impulses. Zinc helps support immune function and plays a role in more than 300 enzymes in the body. Adults may take three capsules per day with meals.
Adequate magnesium intake is necessary to support muscle contraction and relaxation and helps with leg cramps. Leg cramps may sometimes occur in adults with insufficient intake.
