Provides an energy boost and supports muscle health
Dietary supplement
Creatine is an amino acid derivative that is naturally produced by the body and can also be obtained from meat and seafood in the diet. It is used as a supplement to increase cellular energy levels and support muscle health.
Creatine in capsules supports overall physical performance by maintaining normal muscle function and energy metabolism.
Benefits of creatine capsules
Support healthy muscle function
Improve physical performance
Promote healthy energy metabolism
Support healthy cellular energy levels, muscle health, and cardiac muscle function
Optimal healthy energy metabolism
Creatine supports overall cellular health by maintaining normal function of healthy muscles and promoting energy metabolism to optimize physical performance. Creatine capsules will help support muscle health and optimal healthy energy metabolism.
Creatine is an amino acid derivative found in meat and seafood. It is also produced by the human body, mainly in the liver and kidneys, from the amino acids L-arginine, glycine, and S-adenosylmethionine. Creatine is transported through the bloodstream to help maintain energy levels in cells throughout the body.
Creatine and skeletal muscles
95% of creatine is stored in skeletal muscles, and only a small amount is found in the brain and testes. Approximately two-thirds of intramuscular creatine is converted to phosphocreatine and stored as a phosphate source for the production of cellular energy in the form of ATP. In healthy people, muscle creatine is broken down and replenished at a rate of 1–3 g per day.
A large body of data demonstrates that taking creatine supplements can support gains in muscle mass from training, as well as increased strength and performance in all age groups and across a wide range of physical activity types. It has been shown to help strengthen both upper- and lower-body muscles. Creatine has various effects on muscle tissue, and several mechanisms have been proposed to explain the performance improvements during exercise observed after creatine supplementation.
Optimization of energy metabolism by maintaining high levels of the body’s energy source — adenosine triphosphate, or ATP
Enhancement of protein metabolism in muscle cells
Prevention of tissue damage by reducing oxidative stress
Creatine in older age
Numerous clinical trials have shown that creatine has a positive effect on strength and body composition and supports muscle function in older adults, especially when combined with resistance exercise. In systematic reviews of studies, benefits for upper- and lower-body muscle strength, improved physical performance, and body composition were often observed after 12 weeks of creatine supplementation and resistance exercise in healthy older individuals. Creatine supplementation had positive effects even in elderly people who did not exercise.
The potential beneficial properties of creatine are known to help support not only muscle health. A growing body of evidence indicates that creatine supplementation may support neurological and cognitive health. In addition, creatine may help promote a good mood and have neuroprotective properties. It has also been reported that creatine supports normal lipid, glucose, and homocysteine metabolism, as well as metabolism in bone tissue in older adults.
Each capsule contains 500 mg of creatine monohydrate, which is easily absorbed.
