What are digestive enzymes?
Digestive enzymes such as amylase, protease, and lipase work in different pH conditions and help digest carbohydrates, proteins, and fats.
Why did we add the probiotic bacterium Bacillus coagulans (B. coagulans)?
Probiotics such as Bacillus coagulans (B. coagulans) support digestive health and suppress less beneficial bacteria, which in turn supports digestion.
Enhanced Super Digestive Enzymes and Probiotics combine beneficial Bacillus coagulans (B. coagulans) bacteria with 10 vegetarian enzymes that help digest plant foods as well as proteins, dairy, starches, and fats. Studies have shown that adding digestive enzymes may help optimize digestion and nutrient absorption from the foods you consume.
Optimal digestion supports robust health
This digestive health formula contains a blend of 10 potent digestive enzymes, including alpha-galactosidase, protease 3.0, and lipase, among others, which promote optimal digestion of major food types.
Plant carbohydrates and starch. Alpha-galactosidase helps digest carbohydrates and supports a comfortable gastrointestinal state by breaking down oligosaccharides found in foods such as legumes and cruciferous vegetables like cauliflower, broccoli, kale, and others that are often associated with bloating and discomfort.
Dietary fiber. Hemicellulase, xylanase, and pectinase help break down components of plant cell walls, supporting optimal digestion and nutrient absorption.
Protein. Protease 3.0 helps digest proteins in the acidic pH environment characteristic of the stomach. This enzyme helps break down hard-to-digest proteins and assists in the digestion of gliadin, a compound found in wheat. Protease SP helps break down most soluble proteins into lower molecular weight peptides and free amino acids.
Fats. The enzyme lipase helps break down dietary fats.
Dairy products. Lactase is necessary for the digestion of lactose found in dairy products.
Contains probiotics for balanced GI function
Enhanced Super Digestive Enzymes and Probiotics also provide the additional benefits of the probiotic Bacillus coagulans (B. coagulans). Probiotics such as Bacillus coagulans (B. coagulans) support digestive health and suppress less beneficial bacteria, which in turn supports digestion.
This innovative vegetarian dietary supplement is gluten-free and non-GMO, supports normal digestion and the breakdown of starches, sugars, and cellulose from hard-to-digest vegetables, as well as proteins, fats, carbohydrates, and lactose. For maximum effect, take one capsule before meals.
