Folic acid must first be converted into its active form through a series of biochemical steps before it can be used by the body. Metafolin® (L-methylfolate) does not require conversion, as it is bioidentical to the bioactive form. In other words, it is «body-ready». This may be beneficial for people whose bodies have difficulty converting folic acid into its active form. The active folate in this formula supports heart health. It also supports nervous system health and the formation of healthy red blood cells.

As a dietary supplement for adults, take one (1) tablet daily, preferably with a meal, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.
