NOW Nutritional Yeast Flakes have a pleasant taste, as they are produced from a specially selected strain of baker’s yeast of the species Saccharomyces cerevisiae. These yeast are grown on enriched, purified cane and beet molasses under carefully controlled conditions. This is primary yeast and therefore is NOT a by-product of brewing, like brewer’s yeast. This fact ensures that the product is free from Candida albicans yeast.

Recommended use
Take 2 level tablespoons daily, mixed with milk, fruit, or vegetable juice. It can also be used in vegetarian dishes or added to protein shakes to increase their nutritional value.
