NOW® Nutritional Yeast Powder has a pleasant taste because it is produced from a specially selected strain of baker’s yeast, Saccharomyces cerevisiae. These yeast are grown on enriched purified cane and beet molasses under carefully controlled conditions. This is primary yeast and therefore is NOT a by-product of brewing, like brewer’s yeast. This fact ensures that the product does not contain Candida albicans yeast.

Suggested use
Take 1 level tablespoon daily, mixed with milk, fruit, or vegetable juice. It can also be used in vegetarian dishes or added to protein shakes to increase their nutritional value.
