L-lysine is one of the 9 essential amino acids that are produced in the body. It is the main raw material for carnitine synthesis. L-proline can be produced in the body, but low-protein and vegetarian diets do not support optimal production of L-proline. The amino acids L-lysine and L-proline are precursors of hydroxylysine (HL) and hydroxyproline (HP), two components of collagen. Collagen is an important component of arterial walls. Vitamin C, a powerful antioxidant, is also important for collagen production. Hawthorn berry and grape seed extracts are powerful natural antioxidants due to their high level of proanthocyanidins. Proanthocyanidin esters excellently absorb free radicals.
Recommended use
Take 2–4 tablets per day with meals.
