Soluble fiber derived from such products as psyllium husk can reduce the risk of heart disease when used as part of a diet low in saturated fat and cholesterol. One serving of psyllium husk powder provides 6 of the 7 grams of soluble fiber needed daily to achieve this effect.

Suggested use
Take once a day: vigorously mix 1 level tablespoon with at least 355 ml (12 oz) of water or juice and drink immediately. Be sure to drink plenty of additional fluids throughout the day. Start with a smaller dose and gradually increase it over several weeks.
