Soluble fiber from foods such as psyllium husk may reduce the risk of heart disease when used as part of a diet low in saturated fat and cholesterol. A serving of whole psyllium husk provides 6 of the 7 grams of soluble fiber needed per day to have this effect.
Suggested use
Once a day, vigorously mix 1–2 level tablespoons with at least 12 oz. of water or juice and drink immediately. Be sure to drink plenty of additional fluids throughout the day. Start with a smaller dose and gradually increase over several weeks.
