Food supplement Stark Pharm - Stark Rutin Plus contains rutin, complemented with vitamin C and Bioperine (black pepper extract).

Rutin (also known as vitamin P) is a bioflavonoid, a plant pigment, a significant amount of which is contained in certain vegetables and fruits. It is found in citrus peel, black currants, bell peppers, buckwheat, onions, and others.

Vitamin P is well soluble in water and helps enhance the effect of vitamin C. Rutin in combination with vitamin C (ascorbic acid) reduces the permeability and fragility of capillaries, strengthens capillary walls, has powerful antioxidant properties, and takes part in redox processes in the body.

Rutin cannot be synthesized in our body, so it comes with food. Note that rutin is found only in plant-based foods.

Most often, vitamin P (rutin) deficiency occurs in the winter period, when we consume fewer fresh vegetables and fruits.
