A combination of three liver-protective agents, designed for optimal absorption
S.A.T. (silymarin, artichoke, turmeric) — is a liver-protection formula that contains curcumin and milk thistle extracts in the form of well-absorbed phytosomes. Artichoke provides support for a liver affected by fatty degeneration.
Each of the three ingredients in Thorne’s S.A.T. supplement helps promote liver health. Silymarin (milk thistle) contains important antioxidant compounds that protect liver cells from the harmful effects of free radicals, strengthen liver cell membranes, and help maintain the liver’s own antioxidant defense system. Artichoke (Cynara scolymus) has a long history of use for liver treatment. Turmeric is traditionally used in Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine to support liver function. The main active component of turmeric is curcumin. The S.A.T. supplement provides both silymarin and curcumin in the form of phospholipid complexes (Siliphos and Meriva, respectively) to ensure optimal absorption and effectiveness for liver protection.
Recommended use
Take one (1) capsule 2–3 times a day or as recommended by your healthcare practitioner.
