This is a vitamin D3 supplement with a concentration of 2000 IU (50 mcg) per tablet.

Vitamin D is formed when we spend time in the sun, as it is produced in human skin under the influence of ultraviolet rays, and it is also partially obtained from food, helping the absorption of calcium and phosphorus from food. These are the main reasons to include this supplement in the diet during the time when the sun is not so actively pleasing us with its rays.

A number of clinical studies also suggest the following additional functions of vitamin D: regulation of cell division, metabolic processes, and stimulation of the synthesis of a number of hormones.

Composition (daily serving, 1 tablet):
cholecalciferol (vitamin D3) – 50 mcg (2000 IU).
The daily requirement for an adult is 1–10 mcg; in bodybuilding it is used in higher doses – 10–20 mcg. The maximum allowable dose is 50–100 mcg.

Vitamin D is fat-soluble, so exceeding the recommended doses is dangerous to health. In case of an overdose of vitamin D, toxic poisoning may occur: loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, general weakness, irritability, sleep disturbances, and increased temperature.

Recommendations for use:
May be recommended as an additional source of vitamin D.

Method of administration:
It is recommended to take 1 tablet per day after a meal.
