NOW® Super Omega EPA contains twice the EPA (360 mg per softgel) as in our regular product (180 mg per softgel). This fish oil concentrate is molecularly distilled and manufactured under strict quality control standards. It is tested to be free of potentially harmful levels of contaminants such as PCBs, dioxins, mercury, and other heavy metals.

From the FDA: «Supportive but not conclusive research shows that consumption of EPA and DHA omega-3 fatty acids may reduce the risk of coronary heart disease.

Consumption of EPA and DHA together may help reduce blood pressure in the general population and lower the risk of hypertension. However, the FDA has concluded that the evidence is inconsistent and inconclusive. One serving of Super Omega EPA provides 1.2 grams of EPA and DHA.
