Taurine is a conditionally essential amino acid that is not used for protein synthesis and is found mostly in free form in most tissues, especially in the tissues of the nervous system. It functions in tissues by stabilizing cell membranes and helping to transport potassium, sodium, calcium, and magnesium into and out of cells. Taurine helps generate and regulate nerve impulses and supports normal fluid balance. It is also used by the body in the visual pathways, brain, and nervous system, where it works together with glycine and GABA as a neurotransmitter.

Suggested use
Take 1 capsule 1–2 times daily with water or juice, preferably between meals.
