Over 30 years of clinical research confirm the effectiveness of the 2 patented probiotic bacterial strains in Fem-Dophilus®. These beneficial strains colonize the vaginal tract with good bacteria to balance the vaginal microflora and help maintain vaginal and urinary tract health. These two strains are the most clinically published strains for vaginal health worldwide**. They were carefully selected because of their effectiveness in these studies.
A special manufacturing process protects the probiotic strains in Fem-Dophilus® from stomach acid, improves the survival of the probiotic bacteria in the lower intestine, and their transport to the vaginal tract. In addition, the packaging includes a smaller-size bottle with an Activ-Vial™ desiccant, which controls moisture to ensure better stability of the probiotic bacteria.
Strains Matter®: GR-1®/RC-14® and vaginal flora
In one randomized clinical study, 60% of women had healthy vaginal flora after 28 days of taking the probiotic (containing Lactobacillus rhamnosus [L. rhamnosus], GR-1®, and Lactobacillus reuteri [L. reuteri], RC-14®) at a dose of 0.8 billion CFU per day, compared with 40% before taking the supplement. Meanwhile, in the control group (who took 10 billion CFU of the standard L. rhamnosus GG strain), no improvement was observed in the percentage of women with healthy vaginal flora.1

Suggested use
Adults take 1 capsule once a day. May be taken with or without food. If a healthcare professional recommends taking this product together with antibiotics, allow a 1–2 hour interval before taking the product.
