Swanson Low Dose Vitamins D3 and K2 contain 50 mcg (2000 IU) of vegan vitamin D3 derived from lichen and 75 mcg of soy-free vitamin K2 derived from chickpeas in the form of MK-7 in a vegan capsule for once-daily use, which helps support cardiovascular health and strengthen bones.
Vitamin D helps strengthen bones by improving the body’s absorption of calcium and phosphorus. As a supplement, it is available in the form of ergocalciferol (D2) or cholecalciferol (D3). Studies show that D3 may be a more effective and longer-lasting form preferred by the body.
